I have had this home gym for about 3 months now and I love it so far. It is very effective and let me tell you, if you stick to a workout plan, the results will come! I have seen many changes in my body since I started working out with this home gym. It is bulky, so make sure you have enough room before purchasing it. You can do many exercises with this product so that you work all the muscles in you body. Very effective and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to change their body for the better!

The Bowflex line are great products, but I happen to buy the SE extreme which you have to reset after each exercise. I'm surprise they actually would want customer to have to lose time resetting the Bowflex after each exercise drill. Had the sales person done a better job explaining the difference b/w these two models I would have never bought this product to save a couple of hundred bucks on the promotion. Basically if you are in the market and are thinking about buying a Bowflew buy the SE2 EXTREME [$] OR ANY MODEL ABOVE THIS..... ANYTHING ELSE YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:
Iam very pleased with my new Bowflex Extreme SE. I've wanted a Bowflex all-in-one gym for a while but never found it at the right price until this Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. I was very pleased that the set-up instructions were easy to understand and did not require much time to assemble. The included DVD gives very detailed demonstrations on how the machine should be used. The workout manual and poster add additional guidelines for each specific workout. It's like having an entire gym and personal trainer in a box. You can't possibly ask for anything more unless you want a representative to come to your house and do the exercises for you. I've only had it for a week now but I see no flaws so far. Everything runs smooth; no squeaks, no jerks, etc. My entire family will get great use out of this machine as long as we keep each other motivated. We're hoping to get our beach bodies back by Summer 2013. We'll keep you updated on our progress. Thank you Bowflex.com & TTYL.

Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:
I have used the original Bowflex Power Pro, along with a little bit of free weight work, for 8 years and have been more then pleased with it. I have gained a ton of muscle from it. I just bought this one because I am moving out from my parents house and wanted my own. This machine is great. It works very smooth, is easy to use, and offers a ton of exercises. For those complaining about it being difficult to switch between exercises, they are just lazy. It is as simple as clipping on a carabineer. If you are complaining about that, then you will not be dedicated enough to stick to a home workout routine with any machine.

Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:
I purchased an Xtreme SE during one of the very good promotions Bowflex was offering. This gym offers a lot of different exercises, and comes with many accessories. I did add an additional set of resistance rods to increase the max. I like how self contained it is. Also, I don't have to worry about having heavy weights around my children, and have no qualms if my 13yo and his friends use it. It does take some time to change cables around for the exercises, which is the biggest downside. I have used the Xtreme 2SE, which has all the cables integrated so you have very little to change out. I would have preferred that setup, but certainly not for more than twice as much!
Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:

Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:
this unit provides more than enough variety of exercises for anyone but the hardcore body builder. I had a Weider Platinum $2000 machine for a decade, and this one that I bought on a special weekend sale [$] is even better than my old machine. Had to sell it when I sold my house and moved into this apt. Takes very little room. If you lay on the floor and spread your arms wide (I am 6' tall) that is about hom much floor space you need. And the height is about 6" less than my normal overhead reach (7.5 ft.) It took about 3 man hours to put together, and was easy to follow directions. I get a very good workout doing one of the groups they suggest. Looking forward to getting healthier, and stronger, for myself and my grandaughter. Good Luck All!
Pros
- Quick set up
- Quiet
- Smooth cables
Cons
- bulky
Best Uses
- When the gym is closed
Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:
This one is a great home gym. The workouts are good & as intense as you make them. Its great for when you work rotating shifts andcan't make it to the gym. The cables are quiet for those late night/early AM workouts.
Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:
Been using for a couple months and already feeling and seeing the results. I've always been a skeptic of these but after finally buying one I'm a believer. The first week or so it takes some extra time to get used to changing the sets and cables around and how to do each workout. But, after a few times you get the hang of it and it only takes a minute. The resistance is smooth and steady, I'm really enjoying using it.
Pros
- Smooth and quiet

Comments about Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym:
This is a great home gym. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer means by "resetting" after each excercise? You do have to hook up cables when switching exercises that use different positions but with the latch hooks they provide it takes maybe 10-15 secs to connect. This is an absolutely awesome machine. I will be getting the 100 lb rod increase to 310 and then probably the increase to 410 a while down the line. But that will cost $200 and will be well worth it. I can't say enough good things about it except its a great home gym. I love it!
