What Bowflex Revolution® Home Gym owners are saying...

This is by far one of the highest quality home gyms I have ever seen, tried, or experienced. The weight is as consistent as machines you find in a gym costing thousands. The limited space that the Revolution takes up is simply amazing when you realize just how much it can actually do! Changing from one exercise to the next takes literally seconds, it's not just an advertising promise. The most impressive thing about the Bowflex Revolution is the QUALITY. It's smooth, its strong, and it's convenient! Great product!

SpiraFlex® Plates

Lightweight platesThe SpiraFlex® plates of the Bowflex Revolution® home gym enable smooth, consistent resistance through the entire range of motion, a principal ingredient in developing lean, strong muscle.

The versatility of these lightweight interlocking plates allows you to quickly and easily adjust resistance weight on the Bowflex Revolution® home gym from 10 to 300 lbs (up to 600 lbs with the leg press station) for a quiet, gym-quality workout at home.

SpiraFlex® technology duplicates the benefits of free weights and plate-loaded machines to deliver the smoothest, most versatile at-home workout available.

Compact Design

Space efficient for your home: Folds to 4½ft x 3ftThe Bowflex Revolution® home gym was conceived and designed to combine all the strength-building exercise equipment at your local gym into one machine that fits neatly in your home.

To meet this challenge, the engineers combined cutting-edge SpiraFlex® resistance technology with the geometrically designed cam system used for over 20 years in Nautilus® equipment.

The result is not merely a piece of fitness equipment but a self-contained, at-home gym with over 100 exercises, up to 400 variations and a range of resistance from 10 to 300 lbs, (up to 600 lbs with the leg press station). And it's all concentrated in one smart, space-efficient machine measuring just 9ft x 5ft, shrinking to 4½ft x 3ft when folded.

With the Bowflex Revolution® home gym, you get a gym-quality workout at home without sacrificing a lot of time or space.

Freedom Arms®

170° adjustable Freedom Arms®The unique variable independent pulleys, or Freedom Arms®, of the Bowflex Revolution® home gyms adjust 170° with 10 different settings so you can quickly and easily change the direction of resistance and work upper-body muscles from a variety of angles.

This versatility enables you to get a complete, gym-quality workout every time, varying your routine as often as desired to accommodate your developing fitness level.

Finally, because of the SpiraFlex® technology, every exercise with the Freedom Arms® delivers ultra-smooth, consistent resistance through the entire range of motion - an important ingredient in building lean, strong muscle.

Smoothness

Cam design delivers consistent linear resistance throughout the entire range of motion. The Bowflex Revolution® home gym delivers smooth yet strong gym-quality resistance that remains consistent through each exercise. The secret is the cutting-edge SpiraFlex® resistance technology.

Developed for use on the International Space Station, SpiraFlex® resistance provides even, consistent linear resistance necessary for building and maintaining lean, strong muscle. Lean muscle is the most efficient fat burner in the body.

Gone are the bulky, cumbersome weights common in many home gyms. SpiraFlex® resistance achieves its signature smoothness in part due to the heavy-gauge elastic straps powering its lightweight SpiraFlex® plates. As an exercise is initiated, the plate's bands tighten around a central pivot coil, creating resistance.

The Bowflex Revolution® home gym incorporates this revolutionary resistance technology with the geometrically designed cam to deliver linear, consistent resistance through the entire range of motion.

By combining the Bowflex Revolution® home gym's Freedom Arms® with SpiraFlex® technology, the Bowflex Revolution® home gym provides incredibly smooth movement through each exercise, no matter the weight.

International Space Station

Space Station strength-training technology now available at homeAs free weights are ineffective in the microgravity environment of space, the International Space Station needed another way for crewmembers to maintain muscle strength while in orbit. The answer was SpiraFlex® resistance technology.

Astronauts can expect to suffer a 1- to 2-percent loss in bone mass per month while in space. The diminished gravity also means that their muscles are not required to work as hard, greatly increasing the risk of muscle degeneration, or atrophy.

SpiraFlex® technology helps combat this deterioration by duplicating the benefits of free weights in a lightweight, safe, easy-to-use system. The smooth, consistent resistance allows the astronauts to build and maintain lean, strong muscle while in orbit and return to earth healthy.

The same technology is now available on earth

The versatile, compact Bowflex Revolution® home gym offers you the same benefits of consistent resistance that the astronauts enjoy. Even the toughest exercises feel smooth without the inertia commonly associated with free weights. Find out how easy it is to build lean, strong muscle fast.

Three years ago I was hurt and had to go to a wheelchair. I normally worked out at the gym every day, but after I got hurt. I wasn't for sure about how I was going to do that, then I looked at your ad for bowflex and of course did a lot of research. That's what got me to get the bowflex revolution and ever since I got the machine I have gotten better workouts and made more gains then all the years I spent in the gym. It's been over three years now and I workout on it. Five days a week, Monday through Friday.

Comments about Bowflex Revolution Home Gym:

Above average All in one exercise machine, but great if you do not want a home gym that are weight stacked, not moveable, and take up a lot of space. A gift to both of us as a Christmas Gift. Wife hates weight training & gyms so this is perfect for her. Just wish the Leg a Press could come in closer for the wife since her legs are slightly shorter. It was noisy at first but after looking inside the main compartment I saw that the cord was under a plastic guide, moved it above the plastic guide and that rubbing noise was gone. A couple disks are difficult to remove.

I just received the product but will be using it about 5 days a week to strengthen my core, lose weight and tone. It is the ultimate home gym! I love the convenience of knowing when I want a good workout without the hussles and bussles iof going after work or driving in traffic; or the all time. competing of gym clunkers throwing weights around and dropping them on the gym floor, there is no competing with anyone but my self. I am my own competition

        Thanks Bowflex,

The Revolution took some time to set up but the instructions were clearly written and illustrated and I was able to complete it myself in a day. The sleeve for the DVD needs to be labeled "VIEW THIS FIRST" - I think these videos ought to be linked to the Bowflex Home Gyms webpage for viewing in advance. My wife and I spent an afternoon familiarizing ourselves with the Revolution and it will be in use daily!

I love that after going through a tramatic accident that this machine helps me get my mucle mass back without the fear of losing it. I also like that it has been helping me go above my normal and have noticed that my energy and stamina has improved as well. I would like to say without normal lubercation its noisy but still a solid machine. It as has a constant range of motion that even after a month feel like day one and with the long life warranty im sure will hold up very well. I also got the extra resitance plates and am happy to say they come in handy as well. Thank you bowflex for helping me have a equitment that my rehab facilities have. I would like to also say that I am way ahead of the game on recovery as well.

Hi! The Revolution does not come with a lat tower. You can Google on YouTube for videos, but unfortunately, we don't have any videos. Thank you.

I am very interested in the Revolution but wonder by what increments the weight can be increased. For example, can I increase in 5 pound increments, 10 pound increments, or other? Thank you!

I live in a 4th floor carpeted apartment with an empty living room. I would like to use it for working out. I don't know much about how much weight a building apartment can handle but would the machine be too heavy to be put on this floor? taking in consideration how much it weights adding my weight on top of that, I weight in at 165lbs. Also would I be causing too much noise to the floor below me? Thank you.

Hi Steve, the gym itself doesn't cause any noise. It weighs 336 fully assembled. You would need to get the boxes up to your apartment, but it should work fine. the dimensions of the workout area are 10' x 7' (305 x 214 cm). Thank you.

This is a very heavy machine (over 300 pounds) and hard to move, but it can be done. You would have to partially disassemble it reversing the order you put it together in. Thank you.

What is the maximum Height of the Revolution folded? Would it fit in a room with a seven foot ceiling. Also, what is the maximum width, with the arms parallel to the floor?

The maximum height of the Bowflex Revolution is still 6'1 with the arms positioned fully upright, so yes, it should fit in a room with 7 foot ceilings. The maximum workout area needed to accommodate the span of the arms parallel to the floor is 10 ft x 7 ft.
