    • Q:

Im upgrading my old powerpro to the xtreme 2se. Can I just use the 200 lbs of power rods from that unit (4) 50lb rods to upgrade the xtreme 2 se,to 410? If not what will I need to install the upgrade using RoDs that I already own?
      Asked on 11/27/2014 by Bob

      1 answer

Hi Bob! You can use the old 50# rods from your Power Pro to upgrade to 310# of resistance, but to increase to 410# you will need to order new 50# rods. The 410# upgrade comes with a special block that attaches to the existing rod box so that you can add the extra rods. The cost is $99 US plus tax and shipping.

    • Q:

Do these rods come with everything needed to upgrade my PR3000?
Asked on 10/11/2014 by DrPhlox from Wisconsin

      1 answer

Yes, the 210-310lb upgrade consists of 2 50lb power rods and the screws needed to install them into your existing rod box. To install them, you'll need to remove the rod box from the frame, drop the rods in through the holes in the rod box and then secure them through the bottom of the rod box. Then you may reinstall the rod box back onto the frame of your PR3000 and it will be ready to use!

    • Q:

What is the difference between the upgrade rods 310 and 410? they are both two 50 pound rods. just wondering.
      Asked on 2/23/2011 by Anonymous

      1 answer

The rods themselves are identical. The difference is that the 410 rods come with an additonal box setting that attaches to the existing rod box on certain home gyms. In other words, you can order 410 rods in place of 310 rods, but you cannot order 310 in place of 410. I hope that helps.
